Free 5-Minute Reading Check
Your child guesses at words from the first letter, and you're not sure if that's normal for their grade. This five-minute check shows you.
What grade is your child in?
What counts as help?
A word is correct when your child reads it completely on their own. Giving the first sound, sounding it out together, or saying "almost" counts as help, so leave that word unmarked.
If your child makes a mistake and fixes it on their own, it counts as correct.
